Comares:
Charming restored village property

Location

Comares is located at a height of 650m above sea level on top of a hill which gives the village 360 degree views of the outlying countryside and the Mediterranean sea. In the village are several shops as well as bars and restaurants, hotels and an open air swimming pool and health centre. Velez-Málaga and the coast at Torre del Mar are a little more than a half hour´s drive, and Málaga city is reachable within an hour.

The bathroom

This traditional Spanish village house is only a few minutes walk from the main square, in a quiet side street. Through the main door into the house you enter the living room which has a wood burning stove. Next to this is the kitchen. Via a short corridor containing a small store room you reach the bathroom, passing a small bedroom on the way. You arrive at two exits. One leads upstairs to two bedrooms, one of which has a small dressing room or study attached. The second staircase leads to another bedroom from which there is access to the roof terrace. From the terrace there are wonderful views across the hills of the Axarquía.
