Location
Salto del Negro ìs a small hamlet inland of the Costa del Sol. The hamlet is surrounded by lush green trees, due to its position on the banks of the river Benamargosa. There is just the one shop in this little oasis, but deliveries of fresh fish, vegetables and meat are made by various travelling businesses on a daily basis. It is two kilometres to the nearest village, Benamargosa. There are bars, restaurants, banks and a health centre in the village. Torre del Mar and the coast are twenty minutes away by car, and the airport at Málaga is an hour away.
Property
The house is located in a small side street. The bakery is just on the corner near the house. Neighbours are often to be found sitting out on the street enjoying the cool of the evening – this is still a very traditional Spanish environment. The front door of the house opens into the living area with attached kitchen. From here a staircase leads up to the first floor where there is a bedroom and a roof terrace. Next to the living area there is a bathroom. The house is fairly new and has been used as a holiday home. There is the possibility to build another level to extend the property.
