Location

A ten minute drive from Competa´s main square, Plaza Almijara, almost all the way on tarmacked roads and tracks, takes you into the countryside near town where the villa is located. From the main track, after perhaps fifty metres on a dirt surface, you drive onto a tree bordered concrete driveway which sweeps up to a spacious terrace in front of the house. The terrace is surrounded by mature trees and flower beds and gets the sun from early morning till late in the evening. From the land there are pleasant views of the peaceful valley setting where the villa is situated.

Property

Off the track, before you approach the driveway, there is a good sized parking area and a French bowls court from where a stairway, bordered by trees, takes you down to the main terrace. A garage could be easily built here and the existing garage off the main terrace, with its balustraded roof terrace, converted into self-contained guest accommodation. Also off the big main terrace, through some arches, there is a lovely shaded area with a plunge pool, outdoor shower and a barbecue space. From a covered porch the main door opens into a hallway off which, through arches, the living space is distributed. This comprises two double bedrooms with fitted wardrobes, one with an en suite bathroom, a fitted kitchen, a bathroom with a full length bath and a good sized sitting/dining-room with low windows looking out onto the terrace. This room gets the afternoon sun and is bright and airy. There is plenty of handy storage space and a useful tool room located at the rear of the villa.

Remarks

The villa and terraces take up almost the entire extension of the plot but there are still some small areas where extra garden space could be cultivated. As it stands the villa is suitable for those seeking outdoor space which does not involve over-strenuous gardening activity.

Mains water and mains electricity are connected. A very attractive and reasonably priced villa which would be ideal as a permanent home. Only minutes from town but enjoying the seclusion of the countryside.
