Location
Almáchar lies some twenty minutes inland from Velez-Malaga and the beaches of Torre del Mar. The lively village has bars and restaurants and a variety of shops where you can buy everything you need on a day to day basis. There is also a summer opening municipal swimming pool and workshops selling handicrafts. Malaga and the international airport are an hour away.
