Location
A very charming, south-west facing villa located just off the road between the villages of Archez and Canillas de Albaida. Both towns can be reached by car in a matter of minutes and the coast in half an hour. From the road there is excellent access to the house on a concrete driveway which sweeps up to metal entrance gates which open into ample, natural stone paved parking space beside the villa. There are splendid, panoramic views of mountains, snowcapped in winter, fertile countryside and the villages of Corumbela and Canillas de Albaida. Splendid year -round sunsets can also be enjoyed from the terraces and sun lounge.
Property
The terrace space, all balustraded, extends around the villa to the pool area beside which a Jacuzz has been installed. Just outside the kitchen door there is a cool dining area for meals al fresco. An outdoor shower has also been provided as well as plenty of storage space. The guest accommodation (air-conditioned /heated) near the pool comprises a double bedroom, a bunk room (two bunks) a mini kitchen and a bathroom with shower. The main house comprises a hallway, a double bedroom with a built-in wardrobe and access to the parking area, a second double bedroom, also with a fitted wardrobe, a bathroom with shower, a living-room with a fireplace and a fitted kitchen adjoined by a dining area with access to the rear terrace. Perhaps the nicest room in the house is the bright and airy L shaped sun-lounge. It is spacious, comfortable, facing west, has two sliding access doors from the terraces, is fitted with an air-conditioning/heating unit and features wooden ceiling beams. Outside an electrically operated awning has been installed to provide shade from the evening sun.
Land
The villa, terraces and swimming-pool area occupy a good deal of the plot. The rest of the terrain has been very attractively landscaped and is planted with a profusion of trees, shrubs and flowers.
Remarks
Mains water and mains electricity are connected. All the windows, some of which are the open or tilt style, are double glazed and central heating has been installed throughout. The villa would be perfect for those seeking a lovely home and garden in the sun to retire to and enjoy.
