Beautiful country house with some very fine details

Property

The farmhouse lies just off a concrete road, only the last 400 meters are via a dirt track in good condition. There is a parking area and garage, shaded by a wonderful old eucalyptus tree in front of the house. From here there is a step up to a covered terrace and the entrance to the farmhouse. You enter directly into a sitting/dining room. To the right there is a fully fitted kitchen, and to the left a bathroom with full length bath. A couple of steps lead from the sitting/dining room up to the main living room, which has a wood burning stove. To the right from here is a double bedroom with access to a terrace to the rear of the house, and the garden. To the left and via a short corridor you reach a very spacious sitting area. From here there is access to the second double bedroom with en-suite shower room and access to a second, large terrace and the swimming pool to the front of the farmhouse.

Remarks

The spacious sitting area near the second bedroom offers many possibilities, according to need – it could become one or two additional bedrooms. This is a beautifully cared for farmhouse with reasonably flat land and a nicely laid out and planted garden.

Location

The house

La Peña is a hamlet belonging to the village of Cútar, but is actually located nearer to Los Romanes and the man-made lake at La Viñuela. In Los Romanes you can find everything you need on a day to day basis, and the village also offers a choice of bars and restaurants. There are other gastronomic options around about the lake itself. The lively town of Velez-Málaga and the beaches of the Costa del Sol are a little over a half hour´s drive away. Malaga city can be reached in an hour.
