The reformed house is located in the centre of the village in a side street. An archway leads to a small shared patio and to the front door. The door opens into a cosy living room with dining area. Beyond is a small kitchen with a door to a large courtyard. From the lounge a passageway leads to a small study. Next to it is a further room with access to the bathroom. A staircase leads from the study to the first floor with 2 bedrooms. There is access to a roof-terrace from the second bedroom. The roof terrace is spacious and offers a beautiful view over the village into the surrounding hillside.
Remarks
The house is habitable, however, requires a few minor renovation and painting works. This property is a very typical Spanish village house; it has many small interconnecting rooms. The house has a big outside area and is very cosy. The thick ancient walls preserve coolness in summer and warmth in winter.
Location
Benamargosa is a small village in the countryside inland of the Costa del Sol. Located on the river of the same name, the green fruit trees planted around about makes the area feel cooler, even in the height of summer. The village has all day to day necessities: banks, bars and a health centre. There is an open air municipal swimming pool available in the summer months. It´s less than a thirty minute drive to the coast at Torre del Mar from the village, and about an hour to Malaga airport.
