Salto del Negro: Cosy village house in Spanish style

Location

Salto del Negro is a small hamlet inland of the Costa del Sol in the Axarquia region. Circled by the river Benamargosa, the hamlet nestles amongst green subtropical fruit plantations. There is peace and quiet here. There is a small shop, but also daily deliveries of necessities such as bread, fresh fish, vegetables and meat. It´s a great place to base oneself for country walking or inland daytrips by car. Famous cities such as Córdoba, Granada or Seville are accessible from here. Within 2 kilometers, the next village Benamargosa has various bars, restaurants, banks, a health centre and open air swimming pool. The coast at Torre del Mar is a twenty minute drive and Málaga and its international airport about an hour.

The house

House from the street

The house is located in one of the hamlet´s streets and is accessed via a raised terrace. You enter into a hallway, at the end of which is a beautiful patio. On the right there is one double bedroom, then a small sitting room with attached kitchen. From the sitting room there is a staircase up to the first floor, where there are two small bedrooms each with one bed and another large double bedroom. The shower room is reached across the patio.
