Salto del Negro: Nice Villagehouse in quiet Hamlet

Location

Salto del Negro is a small hamlet some thirty minutes drive from the coast, which lies on a bend in the river Benamargosa. The area is kept green and fresh given all the citrus and avocado plantations in the immediate area. There is a small shop and a bakery in the hamlet, but Benamargosa village, which is only 2km away, has restaurants and bars as well as two supermarkets and a summer opening swimming pool. Here you are far away from mass tourism, even though the beaches are only thirty minutes drive. The airport at Málaga is an hour´s drive. This holiday property is in an ideal location for daytrips to the famous cities of Córdoba, Seville or Granada.

The house

The house is in a quiet street. Via a small terrace you enter into the sitting room with chimney place, dining area and exit to a small patio. To the left is the kitchen. To the right of the sitting room there is a window-less double bedroom, which stays very cool in the summertime. You can access the single bedroom and the bathroom either via the double bedroom, or the patio. The house is pleasant and simply decorated in the traditional Spanish style. There are nice sunny views from the small terrace across the river bed towards the citrus plantations.
